City Park
City Park, located in Westlands, Nairobi, is where it all began for KYHD. Nearly 60 children train here every Saturday. During breaks, the children receive water, snacks, and a hot meal afterward.
In the morning, the children are picked up by matatu (local bus) and returned home in the afternoon. On the last Saturday of every month, we organize a community tournament where children from all our program locations come together to play matches.
City Park also has its own storage facility for all equipment: from hockey sticks and sneakers to goalkeeper gear and complete uniforms.
