Level 1 Certification for our Coaches!

Under the guidance of Herman Kruis, 18 of our coaches have graduated with their International Hockey Federation (FIH) Level 1 certification.

Over the past two weeks, Herman visited several neighborhoods to watch our children play and, most importantly, helped train our coaches for the FIH Level 1 Coach Award, the first step on the FIH Coach Educational Pathway!

This certification is a big step forward for our coaches and the children they train. With their Level 1 certification, coaches learn better ways to teach hockey and understand how children learn and develop in sports. They can now create more fun and effective training sessions that help our young players improve their skills. Having certified coaches means our children get better training and have more fun while learning hockey!

We can’t wait to see our passionate coaches continue to grow and share their love for hockey with our young players. And it is not stopping here! We aim for our coaches to tackle the Level 2 certification in a few months.
