The First Kids in Our Program Graduate from the Computer Learning Circus

We’re proud to announce that the first 30 girls in our hockey program have successfully graduated from our Computer Learning Circus, with many more on their way!
A big thanks to Rabobank, who donated 30 laptops that were no longer in use by their employees. So, what did we do with these laptops? We launched a brand-new initiative from our foundation: The Kenya Youth Computer Learning Circus! 🎉

Through this initiative, the girls in our program are learning essential digital skills that will serve them well in the future. These skills complement their training on the field and support their professional growth, empowering them to succeed both on and off the field.

The courses are led by two local coaches: Godwin, a qualified IT graduate, and Linet, an inspiring teacher. A perfect combination, making the lessons both meaningful and playful. The ideal team to guide our young participants in this exciting new spin-off of our foundation.

The program kicked off with two groups of girls, each receiving 30 lessons. The girls attend the lessons before heading off to school and during the weekends, participating with great enthusiasm! We’ve just launched a new series of lessons with the third group in the Obama neighborhood, with even more to come!
A thank you once again to Rabobank and Stichting Wieda Baas, for making this all possible. 🙏
